Sarah Haley, J.D., LL.M in Taxation
Sarah Haley is a tax and estate attorney who provides wealth transfer, estate, tax, and asset protection planning services to the clients of JMOD Financial Services. Her tax and estate planning expertise and background allow her to provide high-net-worth clients with advice and sophisticated planning strategies on every aspect of their planning needs.
Sarah is also the president and founder of her own firm, The Haley Law Group, L.L.C. Prior to going into private practice, she served a two-year appointment as attorney advisor to the chief special trial judge of the United States Tax Court in Washington, D.C. Also, before joining JMOD Financial Services, she worked as a wealth planning specialist at TIAA-CREF, where she provided detailed analysis, review, and insight into complex estate planning for high-net-worth clients.
Throughout her extensive career as a tax and estate attorney, Sarah has focused on complex estate planning, including asset protection strategies, international taxation, business succession planning, estate administration, tax transactional matters, and planning for special needs beneficiaries.
Sarah received an LL.M. (Master of Laws) in Taxation from Boston University School of Law in 1998; a Juris Doctor from Widener University School of Law in 1997; and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Rutgers University in 1994. She was named by South Jersey Magazine as one of South Jersey’s Top Attorneys in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014. She has been recognized as one of American Registry’s 2014 America’s Most Honored Professionals. She has also been awarded the 2015 Five Star Estate Planning Award.
Sarah is admitted to the New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania state bars, as well as being admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court and United States Tax Court
