David S. Fedrizzi CFP®, RICP

Dave is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP) and RETIREMENT INCOME CERTIFIED PROFESSIONAL (RICP) with over 36 years of experience in the financial service industry. He has counseled countless professors, researchers, physicians and university administrators in his 14 years with TIAA CREF. 

Dave began his career in the Life Insurance industry with Equitable in 1984. From 1989 to 1995, he hired, trained, and developed numerous advisors for Equitable while he earned his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designations. At that same time, AXA Financial purchased Equitable, transforming them into a financial planning firm. During this transformation period Dave began preparing for the CFP designation, completing it in 1995. 

As a wealth management director, Joe Kelly first convinced Dave to bring his experience and expertise to TIAA CREF. During his 14 years at TIAA, Dave’s focus was on retirement planning. Dave felt that earning his RICP was paramount to being a skilled and knowledgeable investor for his clients. Throughout his career Dave has always believed that earning the professional designation that corresponded with his client’s needs provided them with the best advice in the industry.
