After many years working in a large corporate environment, Joe Kelly and Frank del Busto wanted to focus more on the importance of personal relationships in financial planning. So it’s not surprising that when it came to naming their new firm, JMOD Financial Services, they honored their parents - John, Margaret, Octavio and Doralia.
It was the deaths of his parents, John and Margaret, that prompted Joe to establish his own firm. Their passing made him reflect deeply on what mattered to him, and the answer was to work with people in a meaningful way again. He realized that everything begins and ends with quality relationships—both personally and professionally.
Joe and Frank knew each other as wealth management advisors at TIAA. Joe had always admired how Frank was able to connect with clients and fully understand what they were going through. Asking Frank to join him in this new venture was a no-brainer.
With over a half century of financial services experience among them, Joe and Frank have created a financial services firm that fosters not only an enhanced level of client relationships, but also a platform to a wider array of financial solutions.
